Terms of use

These terms are a binding agreement between you and VectraSEO LLC ("EarSteady," "we," or "us") that governs your use of the EarSteady app and website. By using EarSteady you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use EarSteady.

1. Wellness tool, not a medical device

EarSteady provides general wellness and educational guidance only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. See our medical disclaimer, which is part of these terms. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use EarSteady. Do not use it for a minor without a clinician's guidance.

3. Acceptable use

Use EarSteady for your own personal wellness. Do not misuse, reverse engineer, or resell the service without permission.

4. Accounts and sign-in

The core features do not require an account. If you create one, EarSteady uses passwordless "magic link" sign-in: we send a one-time link to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure, and for activity that occurs under your account. How we handle your email is described in our privacy policy.

5. Subscriptions & payments

EarSteady may offer paid features or subscriptions, billed either through the Google Play Store or directly through our payment processor.

  • Google Play purchases. Billing, auto-renewal, and refunds are handled by Google under its terms. You can manage or cancel at any time in your Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy.
  • Direct purchases. Before you pay, we clearly disclose the price, the billing frequency, and the renewal terms, and we obtain your express consent to the charge. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by emailing hello@earsteady.com; cancellation stops future charges, takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then.

6. Intellectual property

EarSteady, including its software, content, and branding, is owned by VectraSEO LLC and its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use EarSteady for your own wellness as permitted by these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the service except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

EarSteady is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any guidance or position estimate it provides is accurate for your situation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EarSteady and VectraSEO LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. You assume the risks described in the medical disclaimer.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, for gross negligence or willful misconduct, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you, and you may have rights that these terms cannot override.

9. Termination

You may stop using EarSteady at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — continue to apply.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

11. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining terms will stay in full effect.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and post the revised terms here. Continued use of EarSteady after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
